Singular yet flat.
The tale is most of the time pointless.
This story is an exercise of associations. 'Hotel' suffers somewhat from vulgar filmmaking in the end, perhaps Jessica Hausner turns it into something atmospheric. Not very smooth, but still it works more on a narrative than on an intellectual level.
